Light25 trade show London

Light25 at the Business Design Centre in London showcased all the latest innovations in light fittings on 19th + 20th November 2025. We had the opportunity to see the latest technology and meet with manufacturers to understand how they are implementing new technology in the lighting industry.

Some of the highlights from the show were seeing the miniaturisation of light fittings without losing the light output of the lights. As well as hearing about the steps companies are taking to create circular economy fittings that can be repaired and components recycled at the end of the LED engine's lifespan, which increases the longevity of the light fittings, and reduces the amount of raw materials extracted to create new fittings.

There were some interesting Talks during the exhibition, we particularly enjoyed hearing the Dark Sky panel discussion, where experts discussed the current Dark Sky guidance, and their thoughts and approaches differed in terms of regional attitudes, conflicting standards, contradicting research and varying priorities. It was interesting to hear their experience and opinions on the subject. The speakers included Zoe Faulkner, Troup, Bywaters + Anders; Carolina Florian, Qiddiya, Dan Oakley, DarkSky International.

The exhibition was inspiring and educational, and has sparked some fresh ideas for our current projects.
